Sylvan Lake is currently accepting applications for the purchase of existing businesses under the Province’s Rural Entrepreneur Stream Program.
Before you reach out to the Town to request a letter of support, Entrepreneurs must:
- Confirm that they meet all of the requirements set out by the Province of Alberta for the Rural Entrepreneur Program,
- Be purchasing an existing business located within the Town of Sylvan Lake boundaries,
- Have a business in mind that you are seeking to purchase and have already made contact with the business owner or their representative.
When you reach out to the Town to request a letter of support, we will:
- Request that you complete a letter of support request form (we will send you the form link)
- Reach out to the seller on your behalf to have them sign an acknowledgement form.
- Request a letter of support from Council once we have all of the required information.
